@pzmyers LOL. What a strange person: at some point he managed to push electric vehicles and launch technology forward, to the benefit of mankind. He still has the means to amuse himself in ways few people can imagine, like shooting other people’s corpses at Mars. Yet here he is clicking “refresh” on a web analytics page, sad and angry that his numbers are going down.

Favorite Guitar Hero dev moment:

Suddenly on the intercom: “Hey guys, Ozzy is in the back doing mocap and he can’t perform without an audience. Can anyone come back here and cheer for him?”

Tables and chairs were flipped. Devs were running screaming down the halls.

Then there we were, home made mosh pit, 6 feet in front of Ozzy while he lip synced Crazy Train in a spandex mocap suit. And we raged hard because we were helping Ozzie!🤘

@jds I look forward to seeing it. So much fast-and-light mountaineering gear makes me wonder if they do any product testing, but I still lack both sewing machine and skills. That water bladder sleeve looks kinda fragile, but good idea if it’s sewn outside the pack.

All day I've been hearing the evocative call of Sandhill Cranes far overhead. This was almost a constant accompaniment on my bike ride on this beautiful, clear 62ºF day. (NWS sez: warmest day since November 9th.)

They are gathering to head back north to nest. They will be pretty much gone by the end of the month, so I better enjoy this while I can.
