In general, I think Codeberg stands for a future in which people are a lot more suspicious of free goodies given to the FOSS community by for-profit companies.
But it also stands for a world in which self-hosting is not the only practical alternative to the present situation. We stand for community-run infrastructure, volunteering to provide a common good, and making decisions for the benefit of all.
It was miserably hot in the cabin this afternoon, even with heat pump A/C and a fan.The high of 84ΒΊ F tied a record.
A couple hours ago, gray clouds moved in, the temp dropped quickly and I could see through the window there was a breeze.
Stepped onto the porch and it was lovely! Turned the A/C off, opened the windows and door, and sat out there with Charlene, enjoying the breeze.

Firefox has been able to display PDFs for nearly 15 years but it's taken me until today to realise there's probably a setting to control the default zoom level.
In about:config it's called "pdfjs.defaultZoomValue" and "page-width" is the setting I've been choosing manually this whole damn time.
Recently I've been asked to rate my experience of:
- A delivery of zero items
- A tree taking down a power line
- Providing a urine sample
