Right on cue, as the Senate debates the value of CPB funding, a Tsunami Warning is in effect on the Aleutian chain. KUCB in Unalaska, KSDP in Sand Point, both stations are primary means of emergency communications. Summer time is fishing time and many people and resources are out in the remote areas. Can't make this stuff up.
