Lazyman

The Lazyman project can be used to install, initialize, and manage multiple Neovim configurations. Over 100 popular Neovim configurations are supported.

Lazyman

I've created a Neovim configuration manager which includes a rich Neovim configuration and provides a menu interface to install, initialize, manage, and explore multiple Neovim configurations. Over 80 configurations are supported. Works on macOS and most Linux distributions.

A pleasure to spend the afternoon in Bonny Doon with the Two Doctors over tea and scones.

Ralph Abraham got his Ph.d when he was 23 and @doctorwhen took 23 years to get his (nyuck nyuck).

Happy birthday to @doctorwhen who led me on an awesome tour of his compound. He has several tons of accumulated LP records from mine and other donators and a whole room full of old tube amps and geez how many turntables.

I've created an automated workflow to transform a Discogs user collection into an Obsidian vault with support for Dataview queries. See https://github.com/doctorfree/Obsidian-Custom-Discogs

I'd just like to interject for a moment. What you're refering to as Mastodon, is in fact, GNU/Mastodon, or as I've recently taken to calling it, GNU plus Mastodon. Mastodon is not a social network unto itself, but rather another free component of a fully functioning social network made useful by the GNU copypastas, free software weirdos and vital load-bearing memes comprising a full Tumblr as defined by BOFA.

@andrew @mark_safe also, it kinda starts by engaging with the folks on your own local instance which, presumably, is focused on an area of interest that you are interested in. Which is what we are doing here but it doesn't really count since we are already friends from the wayback.

I'm still catching on but it seems like following tags is a good way to find posts you are interested in. Then, commenting and boosting and posting with that tag.

#friends #tags #boost #hello

@andrew @mark_safe yes, boosting creates reach and can propagate a conversation across instances. It looks like if you wish to participate in a thread on another instance you have to go to that instance but that's just a click. The thread for a post originating on another instance does not seem to fully appear on the local instance. I'm not quite sure how that works exactly. There are also complicating factors like whether an instance talks to another instance. Federation is complicated.

@determinerik I don't really much like either model of moderation - centralized corporate policy motivated primarily by profit, or decentralized moderation by peers and community. The decentralized model seems superior but it's not clear exactly how or how well it functions and it seems prone to a politically correct well-intentioned mommy effect.

Moderating people's words is hard. I guess it's up to us here so I had better bone up on what's ok and what's not ok.
