I buy where I can, but Roulette-Taking Game seems to be absolutely nowhere to be found even checking with my very reliable contacts for Asian games so I homebrewed a copy. Very excited to try this! #BoardGames

Shame shelf progress update (times are roughly how long they've been gathering dust): Nine Tiles Panic (2 yrs), Torres (7 yrs!!), Oceans (1 yr), Bucket King 3D (1 wk). Not pictured: Stacked (~2 wks), Wicked & Wise (1 month), and Turing Machine (<24hrs!). Immediately undid progress thanks to another Miniature Market sale, so from 270, I was briefly at 265, and now I'm right back at 270.

Keepers: Turing Machine, Oceans, Torres. Maybe sell: Wicked & Wise + Bucket King 3D.

Oops. Found the meme 2 days ago, and the games arrived today. Thanks for the #BoardGames and the personal attack Miniature Market. ❤️
Finally got around to finishing Dr. Ellie Sattler from Unmatched thanks to a friend wanting to come over and paint her D&D minis. It'd be 90% done for so long and I was so hung up on the last 10% I couldn't bring myself to finish it. Happy I got that alley-oop of motivation I needed. 1 down, 6 dozen to go. #minipainting #unmatched
(1/2) Me and my lovely partner @E_Briannica will make more progress on the shelf of shame since she had the wonderful idea to institute a weekly standing game night for the two of us. Take A Number (aka X-Nimmt) takes the wonderful chaos of the original Take 5 (aka 6-Nimmt which shines at 5 players and above) and adds a couple of simple twists to keep it just as interesting for <5 players. More details to follow. Shelf of Shame count: 270. Will make this a weekly update. #BoardGames

This weekend I made progress on my #ShelfOfShame! Two games of Nana, some Minecraft: Biomes and Builders (which is better than it should be and quite flavorful if you're into Minecraft) and Taluva which was a super pretty, super interactive abstract game about building on a constantly expanding volcanic island!

...this progress was immediately undone by the receipt of an equal number of new #BoardGames today.

*sigh* Can I be blamed for end of year #BoardGame sales? Definitely time to cull some games from the collection though. If anyone is around to #sfba (#SanFranciscoBayArea), I promise good prices and delivery to a mutually agreed upon local establishment.
Two new #BoardGames showed up at my doorstep courtesy of Amazon.jp 😁
Got to try Pitch Out (and the compatible Pitch Out 2) which I received today from France. Well worth importing, translating, and setting up an 80x80 cm masking tape boundary on my table for (at least for me, who loves dexterity games). Super fast, dead simple PvP flicking fun. Either eliminate the enemy captain or every piece but the captain. Each piece has its own special powers and the teams are very slightly asymmetric with three of eight pawns having a unique power.

I'm such an absolute sucker for #Dexterity #BoardGames. I may or may not have spent my lunch break meticulously translating the rules .pdfs from French to English.
