Warm and comforting and clever and *beautiful*. I ordered a second copy this morning, signed by Neil, from The Golden Notebook for my 90 year old mom-in-law for Christmas. It'll be her first graphic novel as well as an introduction to Neil Gaiman's storytelling. 😊

I'm new to all of this. I followed N. Gaiman here from Twitter but only got Twitter this past August to follow 'The Sandman'. I read the novels 26 years ago and was blown away by the Netflix adaptation. I decided to give fandom a try and contribute by writing fanfic. So far, I've learned that fanfic is not a respected media, even though it's really a mixed bag. I was hoping for more critique, but maybe there are better ways... 🤔 In any case, Sandfans, where are you???

Isn't it kinda weird that #Mastodon gets described as 'left-leaning' because we handle more strickt rules and don't tolerate things like bullying.. It could be me but I perceive this as 'normal'.

I mean you don't call people all kinds of names in a conversation on the street or in the store right? Even if you don't agree🤔

Somehow it feels the (online) standards for treating each other have declined so much over the past few years  

Let them talk, we are a loving and happy community!

A ✅ has appeared in my profile. Hurrah for that. I think we have to realise that the learning curve here is steepish, but rather than be anxious about it, shouldn’t we should celebrate the adventure of slowly finding out something that was puzzling at first? Like your first week at school or in a new office building. We’ll get there and soon laugh at how confused me were at first. I hope!

It's my birthday! So here's a photo from the Good Omens 2 shoot. It's Crowley (the lovely David Tennant) but the screen I was watching on was pixilating in interesting ways, and it turned him into a Francis Bacon sort of a demon.
