Listen to this episode from Ghosts 'N Bears Podcast on Spotify. If you have ever been to Las Vegas, you might think that with all the lights, crowds, people, shows and buffets, there would be no room for ghosts! Great news! We found some! We talk to the friend of the show Patrick who calls Las Vegas home, as he shared not only his favourite Las Vegas stories but also a few of his own. These stories will make your next trip to Las Vegas a little more creepy as you may not be as quite alone in your hotel room as you thought you were when you checked in! Join us on this episode all about Las Vegas on Ghosts 'N Bears.
The Tower of Faces at the Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington D.C. displays photos taken between 1890 & 1941 in EiΕ‘iΕ‘kΔs, a town in what is now Lithuania. They show a vibrant Jewish community that existed for hundreds of years. In September 1941, an SS squad massacred the entire Jewish population - nearly 4,000 people. In just a week, more than 250 years of Jewish life and culture in EiΕ‘iΕ‘kΔs came to an end.
I highly recommend following @auschwitzmuseum for important history on #Mastodon.
I'll be honest here, as a humble instance admin receiving all kinds of DMs and emails...
The abuse, excessive reports... folks our instance grew from 60 users to 22000 in the span of two weeks. I didn't expect to suddenly commit 6-8 hours of my day to this. Knowing I have other commitments like a day job and other things.
I'm burning the candle on both ends here. Look at this toot timestamp. Please save space for some patience.
