At 1:30 I was at 800 accesses.
At 1:31 I was at 1000 accesses.
What kind of bot is scraping the url off my mastodon profile and doing this?
I don't know enough about the topic to even guess.

I put a link in my Mastodon profile to a site I didn't realise had a limited number of accesses. Oh, no matter, few people will ... what? I'm over my limit of 1000 accesses? 1000!? That seems unlikely, I only signed up this morning. :-(

A tip someone passed along earlier that is worth repeating. Discoverability on mastodon is improved when you boost posts rather than just favoriting them. Unlike the   bird site, mastodon does not show in my feed the things you favorite. So boost the stuff you like! Tags also help discoverability! #twittermigration #tips

It looks like there's a usability tax to pay because I signed up on toot server rather than mastodon server? :-(
I assumed it would be invisible once signed up. #sigh
Ex: I follow a link from "news" tab, am taken to browser (instead of staying in android app) and there I cannot ⭐ b/c I don't have acct on that server? #pfft
Yes, there's a workaround. Would I put up with it, many times a day? ... 🤔😖😠
