I'm a freelance producer who has worked on other people's projects in the past, and now I'm looking for a script to produce and direct myself as a portfolio piece. My preference is:

- Dialogue-led drama or comedy
- Under 20 pages
- Easy-to-scout locations
- Written through the female gaze, with a female or otherwise underrepresented lead

Until today, the great majority of podcasts intended for writers in general and screenwriters in particular, started well and slowly deteriorated into private humor of the presenter... frustrating...🤷🏾‍♂️
I would very much like to hear from someone a recommendation for a quality podcast that continues to have added value for screenwriters episode after episode.🙏🏽

It is especially difficult to write an introduction scene for a villainous character ( taking into account I don't consider myself a villain🤷🏾‍♂️).
Actions that villains take, words they speak...
For something good to emerge, one is in need to go deep within.
I read the scene in question to my partner yesterday. She told me that the character is a piece of shit.
I consider har reaction as a success. 😁
