Ever been browsing someone's blog, website, repo -- even their social web profile -- and thought to yourself "Wow, that's really neat. I love what they did here!"

Consider telling them! Someone on here made a post a while back encouraging people to do just that, and I've tried to make a conscious habit of contacting the authors of neat little indie and smolweb sites.

Email, guestbook, comment; whatever it might be, consider reaching out somehow to share your appreciation. You might be surprised at how much it makes their day.

You might also be surprised to discover how much making their day makes yours, too.

Or we don't build a great website… go another way… frak them all… let all those middlemen go frell themselves …. go our own way … reinvent the internet, reimplement the web… built our own GRID

Whoa success! I managed to send audible voice msg from t-deck #reticulum to MeshChat. Three days struggle 😭 The culprit was the tight loop of screen refreshing, keyboard poll, LoRa poll and i2s mic capture. It turns out esp32 core was skipping bytes from the mic which caused the codec to encode partial voice, causing inaudible msg. I gave preference to i2s bus and now the msgs are good enough and go over LoRa to meshchat successfully. Now i have voice and image transport on t-deck!

@rf Всем ку. Есть ли у кого-нибудь контакт человека, который может достать диски для NAS дешевле рынка? Условные WD Red Plus, Seagate Iron Wolf или Toshiba N300. Цель - хранение данных в zfs массиве, в зависимости от цены конфигурация может быть разная, но в целом 4 одинаковых диска звучит уже довольно неплохо. Деньги есть, но не хочется переплачивать сетевым магазинам, 22к за 4TB это слишком.
