Do you want to learn about the new features in OpenMP 6.0?
Today, Michael Klemm (AMD) and myself (RWTH) will present the 31st POP webinar titles "OpenMP 6.0 Part 1: New Host-side Features and Enhancements".
Thursday, 19 December 2024, 15:00 CET The webinar will start with a discussion on OpenMP's development process, highlighting the strategic roadmap and the continuum of control that guides the evolution of this powerful API.
Exciting news from the HPC group at RWTH Aachen University! Our research in parallel programming models has been recognized with TWO best paper awards at the IWOMP and EuroMPI conferences! 🏆🏆
Our focus on parallel programming with OpenMP and MPI is driving innovation in high performance computing. We're committed to making HPC systems and applications more performant, productive, and cost-effective.
RWTH Aachen University is proud to play an active role in @nfdixcs Matthias Müller and @cterboven lead the Task "D4 Data for Benchmarking" and are strongly involved in the High-Performance Computing use case. 💪
Together, we are working towards a #FAIR future for #ResearchData in #ComputerScience. The two-day project meeting in Wiesbaden consisted of productive discussions and excellent collaboration with all involved!

Tuesday, 30 April 2024, 15:00 CEST The OpenMP 4.0 standard introduced support for accelerator and GPU programming and there are many introductory tutorials available. In this webinar, we will present OpenMP's support for asynchronous kernel offloading and explain how to use it. In addition, we will show how OpenMP supports the combination with GPU-native programming models.
