Hiya everyone! I moved over here from @cityboundforest, so I thought I'd post a little introduction!

I'm Cass. You can also call me Forest. I'm a #furry (specifically a #fox). I am #gay and #agender. I have #synesthesia, #autism, and #adhd. I am also the host of an #osdd1b system (You might see my other system-mates on here). I am a proponent of #FOSS and the free and distributed internet. I'm into a lot of RPGs such as #Persona5, #BreathOfTheWild, and other #Zelda games.

Glad to be here!

If you accomplished ~anything~ academically during the pandemic, such as:

• submitted an application
• earned a degree
• passed a class
• did research
• learned something
• taught somebody
• submitted a manuscript
• stuck with it
• changed course
• set healthy boundaries
• figured out what works for you
• helped a colleague

you did it in Very Hard Mode, and I salute you!

If you got your butt kicked, you’re not alone 💜

Ah, look. It’s that time of the year again when you can get a deal on Hulu for $1.99 a month, aka the time when all blind people should sign up because it’s not worth paying more than that for a streaming platform where stuff that’s supposed to have #AudioDescription is very frequently missing episodes and the audio quality for description tracks is 1/5 of the quality of the non-described audio tracks.
Happy Thanksgiving to all who celebrate it! Remember to not buy a thing tomorrow unless you really need it. 😉
Apropos of nothing, reminder that nonbinary people don’t need to use they/them or neopronouns in order to be nonbinary. Some nonbinary people use she/her and he/him. No one owes you any specific signifiers in order for their identity to be legitimate.

If you look at historic polytheistic religions in the Western world (which is the basis for most fantasy RPG pantheons), everyday people didn't worship just ONE god unless they were priests at the temple.

Going to war? Pray to Athena. Sailing voyage? Sacrifice to Poseiden. Nobody outside the temples ONLY worshipped just one god, and it bothers me when fantasy RPGs make that assumption.

Men, women don't care if you're tall, athletic or rich. All women want is for you to show up at their home on time with a lasagna & a raccoon wearing a tiny backpack full of snacks. Then you leave so they can share the lasagna with the raccoon. That's it. It's not rocket science.
I will no longer be referring to them as Teslas but instead as “Twitty Twitty Bang Bangs.”
