It's no secret I love frame.work laptops.
Taking repairability and hardware ownership to a new level, even for the less technical among us.
Here's a photo of a 12th gen framework laptop. Everything is labeled and replaceable (including the keyboard and screen) ... Most screws are captive so you can't lose them. They even include a screwdriver/spudger combo tool which is the only one you need to repair or replace parts. 🥰
I'm so unbelievably proud of myself over the silliest accomplishment. For the first time ever (and I've been doing this a looooonngg time.. close to 2 decades now)... I've designed, 3d printed, and fit a trim piece *insert* ... On the first try. No revision to the CAD model for hole alignment, no revision to print settings, no reprints to account for shrinkage,expansion, spaghetti, or adhesion... All the clip holes lined up exactly.. Even the surface ironing came out well.

Now that the present giving season is basically over.. don't forget that handy parents can lower the volume of a lot of kids toys by simply adding a resistor inline to the internal speaker. Here's a picture of me performing a volumectomy of my own. In this case, 68Ω did the trick.

Useful for everyone comfortable with a soldering iron. Maybe a solution for some of those #ActuallyAustistic care givers out there too.

@actuallyautistic

Sometimes, you just get hit in the face with such a big 'huh' coincidence, that it forces one to take a moment, and reframe the day at a minimum. My #autism wasn't discovered/identified/dx'd until my daughter was dx'd as #AuDHD, and her struggles so closely resembled mine. I understand this is common, for parents, as autism was way way less understood back when we were kids, even less than it's understood now, for us older folx. Anyways, when I was 18, I got my first tattoo. Autism wasn't spoken about back then, and when it was, it was frequently conflated with, or sometimes considered adjacent to down syndrome, I had no idea at the time of the power this symbol would come to hold for me now. The current infinity symbol didn't exist as representative. I will just consider myself ahead of the #ActuallyAutistic curve.

@thraeryn normally, I have my office desk lights set to cyclic rainbow, but today, to encourage your ethical hacking journey, they are set to your color..
The internal pain I feel... When someone calls a usb->lightning cable, their phone charger...

Our build agent windows server has already gone on vacation (or is it the most secure settings possible, thinks it's air gapped?) Either way.. I think I'll go ahead and put on a pot of coffee now. This server lost it's windows activation. and can't reactivate. So I check the network settings .. and took this screenshot **over RDP**
Just in time for the holidays, thanks for the #wine, Apothic
Everyone else is showing off their support for @thegibson and H.T., so here's mine! Stoked it came today!
