Interests:

- Some tech origins, mainly beginnings of #Unix, CP/M, #Amiga, and thus #BCPL / #tripos. Fond of #forth too. Looking up to #lisp #haskell #erlang and #elm.

- Network infra #TCP/IP, #mptcp and #TLS progress.

- Standard editors such as vi (#vim) - after about three decades of growing into it, more and more of #emacs.

- Text interfaces, #mutt, #tig, #mc

- Fan of version control, coming from #rcs through #git

- Not a luddite at all, but I don't favour all tech or all vendors.

My "Small text" program works in ANY text/graphics mode (except Teletext Mode 7) on the #BBCMicro / #AcornElectron. It doubles the number of text columns available to the current screen mode.

Still work in progress:) But there is probably soon a very compact solution. All in one , which goes into the A600 trapdoor. 1MB extra Chipram, DVI++(Sound from Paula on the digital video plug too..), clockport etc etc :)

Almost passing all the tests with my uxn emulator, written in uxn itself. It's very bizarre project, it makes me wonder if there were 6502 emulators written in 6502.

A new version of annotate.el, a mode to annotate files without
changing them, has been released, this is a bugfix release.

This version (1.8.2) fixed This version fixed a crash that occurred
when visiting an annotated buffer using TRAMP (a package for remote
file editing).

Annotate mode is available on MELPA and also on NonGNU ELPA, this
means that, if you are using an Emacs version greater or equal than 28
you could simple run the command: 'M-x package-install RET annotate
RET' to install the package.

Wheee, Hitchhikers' Guide running on my RC2014

Believe it or not, I actually had to do some hex editing to get this to work. Turns out the sequences on here didn't cooperate with the terminal board.
