Mark BarrowHow wonderful.England’s rivers wont meet standards for good chemical health until 2063 they will contain toxic substances for decades. To think in September 2000 overall health of rivers was at 92% yet in 2022 they are at 14%. It is an absolute disgrace.

Science fiction, fantasy and horror awards season has started. I'm making a roundup of eligibility posts by authors who identify as Latine (Latina, Latinx, Latino) so we can check out, celebrate, share and enjoy our work. The list will be compiled here.
Jeff YangCissy Suyat Marshall, wife of the late Thurgood Marshall, has passed at 92. Filipino American from Hawaii, she was an NAACP legal secretary and a key advisor and supporter of Justice Marshall and mother of his two children.
At 4’11” Cissy was often teased by her 6’2” husband: “How’s the weather down there?” Her answer: “Same as up there, I don’t care how tall you are. I can still beat you up—I’ll get on a chair.”
