For those hoping for moderate Republicans in the Senate will block tRump's appointees...
tRump doesn't need Senate approval for his cabinet appointments. He can make them temporary appointments and if tRump gets sued because he didn't get permanent approval, tRump will claim it's an official presidential act - and SCOTUS has ruled tRump is immune from prosecution for official acts. So Gaetz, RFK, Jr. serve as long as they want.
Bottom line the #UnitedStates is now a dictatorship.
Here's a good strategy suggestion for tonight's VP candidate debate. Since we know CBS news will offer no fact checking of Vance and his "fire hose of lies" debate approach, Governor Walz should use time in his first answer and plainly say, "tonight you'll hear countless lies from the republican party in an effort to distract you, because they have no policies to present!"
