I was waiting for someone else to bring it up, but I haven't seen it yet, so:

JD Vance saying "I was told there would be no fact checking" at the #vpdebate reminded me of Chevy Chase as Gerald Ford on SNL in the 70s saying "It was to my understanding there would be no math during the debate"

I was hoping the #vpdebate would go more like this:

Moderator: There will be no fact checking, as requested by Mr. Vance, who said “I intend to lie my ass off, just like my boy Donald.”

Moderator: Sir! No fact checking!

In the VP Debate, JD Vance suggested Harris unilaterally pass policies, despite the VP’s only power being breaking ties in the Senate. Aside from the VP job description, ya know what else Vance didn’t read? The “can cause cancer and reproductive harm” label on his couch. 😬
