@FreakyFwoof @Kaliah @guilevi @ednun_p I think this thing is called misophonia? something like that?
@startrek2025 @luv4music1231 @robini71 @countrymetalhead @TSchulte @Lino_JR I had sent this in direct messages, which had somehow migrated to mentions, ah well, here's the recording for your listening pleasure. lol

Adults: Behave!

Me: Seriously? As a child I saw Tarzan almost naked, Cinderella arrive home after midnight, Pinocchio told lies, Aladdin was a thief, Batman drove over 200 miles an hour, Snow White lived in a house with 7 men, Popeye smoked a pipe and had tattoos, Pac Man ran around to digital music while eating pills that enhanced his performance, and Shaggy and Scooby were mystery solving hippies that always had the munchies. The fault is not mine!

@Pawpower wow, that seriously sucks. so you really don't know how you'll react to a medication until you take it once, that seems like it could be dangerous in certain circumstances. ugh. I feel for you.
@Pawpower I'm glad you're feeling better after working out. Melatonin just makes me want to sleep all day. It's horrible for me. Here's hoping it works awesome for you. ✨
@Pawpower I can't take melatonin, it gives me viciously bad nightmares, plus it makes me feel like a zombie for the whole next day, and that's on 5mg. I hope it goes better than that for you. I know that melatonin can do a lot of good for most people, I'm just one who can't take it, especially if I have to be presentable the next day. lol

I've found two very old IDE spinner drives here and I think they contain data I'd like to get at. Hooking them up, motors spin, but in both cases there's just an initial click from the heads, then nothing else. They don't appear as drives in Explorer or Disk Management. I'm thinking the heads are stuck.

Do I know anyone who's successfully rescued data in this situation before? If so, please share tips/advice. Really only interested in firsthand knowledge this time. Thanks.

@techsinger @countrymetalhead @lunar_fang yes, you're absolutely right, and those people who have a hard time with accepting their blindness are sometimes those who have issues with allowing their blindness to be part of who they are. I'm obviously generalizing, and I know there are always exceptions to the rule, but I've seen so many people who just can't come to terms with their blindness, and most usually those are the ones who have a hard time embracing it as part of who they are.
@techsinger @countrymetalhead @lunar_fang I guess when I say embrace it, I just mean to be ok with, to be accepting of, to not be resistant to, your blindness. Because you're right, it's not like you can change it anyway, so rather than being upset or depressed or sad about it, accept it as part of who you are and be ok with that. *shrug*
@countrymetalhead @lunar_fang yeah, I totally understand, and respect her right to do so. :)
