Half way through the semester we need to change classrooms. This new one is accessed by a back gate and a maze of paths, none of which are straight or connect on right angles. These paths are strewn with piles of construction materials, frequently necessitating detours. Getting to class was tricky but when we left to go to the car Callisto was like "no worries, I gotchu!" And she did. Navigated the twisty pathways, around clutter and out the gate without any input or help from me! 🦮💖🌝🥰

TGIF! It's a chilly 70 degrees out there, so I went and worked out in my side yard. I didn't realize but it's also 90% humidity so it was like clammy clingy soup. Extra sweatiness points today. It's a Callisto day, and I have work in the city and then the theory is I'm coming home and moving my mastodon over to beige today. So if you see a new account following you, it could be me! I use my air popper to make some popcorn, and I put some garlic herb butter on it and some sprinkle cheese and that is pretty delicious! This thing was a great investment!

Apparently, fun walks were not exhausting enough and the dogs decided they had to come home and raise hell! OK the golden retrievers did Baloo is having a nap because she's a good girl. RIP my kitchen towel.

Tonight's side quest, get the 45lbs of frozen ground raw lamb premade dog food from the box on my porch into the body freezer in my garage on the other side of my property... whew! 💪🥵

Added a dog toy to my Aldi order... The shopper tells me they're out and replaces it with ... a catnip toy.... Uh, hello? Thankfully they were able to refund it but still really? Not even the same species!

Dinner tonight is going to be gyro bowls. Right now I have jasmine rice going in my rice cooker and some of the lamb and beef gyro meat from Costco cooking in my air fryer. There is a bit of feta, olive hummus and cut up tomato and onion to mix in with it. Looking forward to this. Have been thinking about making it ever since I ordered something like it from my favorite Greek place.

One of my students is doing a history essay on Assata Shakur and we were looking up songs people wrote in honor of her and one was very punk rock and Phoenix sat right up and alerted me to the noises coming out of my interpreter's phone. haha!! She apparently disapproves of screamy punk music.
