💉💉💉🎉I'm so happy I did 2 things when I started being active here:
1) Not link my Twitter account. I don't necessarily want to use Mastodon like I use Twitter. Feels like coding in a new language and not learning the idioms. I already notice that some of my bad Twitter habits are fewer here. If the thing that annoys me there is not here, why would I bring it here? Why would I do that to myself?🙂
2) Post less read more. At least to start! To learn the local culture.

Also, are you guys bracing yourselves for the possibility that we may not have final results on the most crucial races (which will affect the counts in the house and senate) until days or weeks after?

Fascism has found a welcome home on our shores. Regardless of who has “control” of either or both of our legislative chambers in January (as a result of this election), we know that misinformation and hate has been uncovered and amplified.
Yet we must not be discouraged. We can regroup and regrow. Love wins if we try.
