The conversation here is focused on #PeriodTracking, which in the US especially has become particularly sensitive. Next was an absolutely amazing discussion at #Oxford's Institute for #AI #Ethics on the economic impact of AI with Daron Acemoglu, Ekaterina Hertog, Maximilian Kasy, and John Tasioulas. There is just so much in this conversation, first understanding how #algorithms interact with #economies and #governments before moving squarely into ethics of #design, #optimization, #power, and beyond. Next was a discussion on #antitrust enforcement, #startups, and #tech #M&A at the #UCBerkeley School of #Law with Sarah Cardell, Jeremiah Gordon, Kristen Limarzi, and Jan Rybnicek.
