@GottaLaff McConnell has had vascular issues for 20+ years. Triple bypass in 2003. To my knowledge he has not admitted to any medical problems since then, despite his often unhealthy appearance.
He's 81 now. One may succeed in hiding serious health conditions for just so long. He needs to bow out and spend more time with the family. Maybe take up knitting.
