Caught a video yesterday from a guy who was just amazed the upcoming Fantastic Four: First Steps tie-in comic was developed as if it were an in-universe comic. He was totally mind-blown.

Don't get me wrong, I like the idea. But I liked it, too, when Marvel did it 25 years ago with an entire line of comics. And when Alan Moore did it before that with The Black Freighter stories in Watchmen. And before that when there was an actual Spinal Tap album to promote the movie.

This is hardly new.

I hate having salads for lunch. I don't enjoy salads and it feels like just tedious chewing. But it's the only way I've found that I'm able to keep from gaining a ton of weight and feeling even shittier about myself than usual. I probably hate that feeling as much as I hate having salads, but at least eating the salad is only momentary, compared to carrying that extra weight on you all the time.

So here I am, eating a salad for lunch. 🫤

1. Woke up to find out Canada isn't as stupidly self-destructive as the US
2. Generally pleased with how the bottom half of my current model build turned out
3. Dog is at day care today so that's one less thing I have to deal with right now
