Reluctant fundraising/begpost here, mutual aid if you will.

Those of you following along remember in March of this year I was kicked out of my mother's house after an increasingly tense environment broke down. I spent two weeks in the homeless shelter, and then with help from a street outreach team managed to get into a rooming house. Now, with the help of my housing worker, I'm moving into a bachelor apartment where I will have my own kitchen and bathroom, must-haves for my mental health and well-being.

The lease is signed, the damage deposit is paid and the rent is covered, but unfortunately I have nothing leftover for moving, furnishing the new home, utilities hook-up, bathroom and kitchen essentials, and some food staples to get me comfortably to October and beyond.

So many of you helped me out when I was scared and uncertain, and I hope I can get one last push into the stable housing I know I need to heal and grow. If you aren't able to help now, my gratitude is eternal, I understand, and there are a lot of folks in far worse circumstances than I am out there.

But if you're able to kick over some change toward my goal of $1,000, it would help me start things off right in the new place, and take off a whole load of worries.
