Another #japanese #murdermystery (can you tell this is one of my top fave genres?) but here you'll know the murderer soon enough, but the motive is the real mystery. Anything more I say will be spoiler but trust me, Higashino knows what he's on EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. We don't. So we read.

It's a #japanese #lockedroommystery #murdermystery and the narration is so visual it feels like you're watching a movie. It also touches upon a mental health disorder that's often taken lightly but could even leads to deaths in severe cases. Be sure to pay close attention to everything. 😉

This the raw-est account you'll find on #mentalheaIth in #india. #psychiatricdiseases especially, that too in a #middleclass family in #mumbai .But this is also #witty and there's occasional #warmth as well. For such a small book, there's so much said without saying.

The Blue Between Sky and Water by Susan Abulhawa.
If you are into #magicalrealism #strongfemalecharacters #PalestinianLivesMatter then this is a must read. It's a #historicalfiction telling a #multigenerational story from before the #nakba . Even if you're not familiar with the "politics" of it all, you'll find this a great read while also educating yourself about an ongoing #apartheid .
