I write and teach #writing. Especially to those who fear it. 10 #books of #poetry, a bunch of websites, and a decent track record of infuriating trolls. Dad, #poet, #ADHD poster model, etc. Enjoy #metaldetecting, #judo, #visualart, #videogames with proper stories, and #DnD. Based in St. John's, Newfoundland. http://linktr.ee/georgemurray

Strange year full of mostly bad stuff. I'll be standing by the door with your hat and coat, 2022.

There is a relatively tiny number of human beings who lay claim to more than 99% of all human wealth. They work together to keep all the other humans from getting a share, all the while taking large portions of the wealth those other humans are forced to create for the tiny number
I haven't painted in about 25 years, but this year my daughter who is an artist gave me a set of watercolour pencils I thought I'd try out. Was fun to sketch in colour. I guess since I'm in a slump with writing, I can spare some time for painting and music. I'll never be a visual artist or proper songwriter, but practicing outside my comfort zone helps sharpen my lines, when they do come.

12 Mimics for Christmas

Stunted creatures, jingle mimics barely moved beyond the polyp stage in size and mentality. This may have been from a deep freeze or perhaps some whiff of strange magic. They are joyous creatures, inspired by the bells of a winter festival. Often they will ring just to hear the sound. Yet, they still hunger and take down prey in bounce, tinkling packs.
