@DM_Zeppelin When I suggested this was the approach I would use to the players, they got instantly excited about the idea of not knowing their own hit points or the hit points of monsters (which they never do anyway, at my table).

I run the teen's D&D group at my local library. We play twice a month. They want their game session at the end of October to be horror-based. They're eager to be frightened.
I've scared my D&D players before but have never had the entire session be horror-based.
Any advice?
