@streetartutopia I don’t know - feudal lords were theoretically supposed to protect their peasants, and given the difficulties around replacing serfs, they had some incentive to keep most of them alive. CEOs don’t have the level of responsibility to workers - we’re supposed to be replaceable (and when workers get enough power to refuse the shittiest of wages for a little while, the CEOs throw tantrums)
