@emilymbender This reminds me of all those well-meaning but ignorant attempts by people who shared their designs for cheap ventilators during the height of COVID. It was obvious to those of us who use ventilators every day that they had no idea what these machines actually do. A guided discussion about a patient's wishes helps the family navigate through these issues as much as it is to come up with a yes/no decision about further treatment

This is inhumanity and a compassion bypass that is becoming truly staggering.
Unpaid carers should be cherished & supported not punished - the DWP should be thanking & helping them, not taking them to court!

Carers allowance is so inadequate people are forced to watch every penny on top of their exhausting care giving.
Carers do a FANTASTIC job, and SAVE so much money with the neverending loving care they provide, so the 'State' don't need to. They should be respected and appreciated not demonised.
