The DWP demonstrating (again) they are callous & inhumane.

unpaid carers should be cherished & values, not punished....

How do the people who work at the DWP live with themselves?

Fined £6,000 for tiny mistake: carer penalised for extra shift at supermarket

Helen Grater claimed carer’s allowance while looking after seriously ill partner – and unknowingly exceeded earnings threshold

The Guardian

@ChrisMayLA6 When I worked for a supermarket I was constantly asked to do more hours when starting a shift. It's hard to decline any extra work if you're worried about your job

Carers allowance is so inadequate people are forced to watch every penny on top of their exhausting care giving.

Carers do a FANTASTIC job, and SAVE so much money with the neverending loving care they provide, so the 'State' don't need to. They should be respected and appreciated not demonised.
