This is inhumanity and a compassion bypass that is becoming truly staggering.
Unpaid carers should be cherished & supported not punished - the DWP should be thanking & helping them, not taking them to court!

Carers allowance is so inadequate people are forced to watch every penny on top of their exhausting care giving.
Carers do a FANTASTIC job, and SAVE so much money with the neverending loving care they provide, so the 'State' don't need to. They should be respected and appreciated not demonised.

After recently reading the book I have just watched the BBC adaptation of China Miéville's The City and the City. What an absolute gem. The bizarrely plausible world-building is just so well thought through and presented. Highly recommended. #fantasy #scifi #urbanism #chinamieville
