Scottish comedian, Janey Godley, who protested #Trump with a sign reading "Trump Is a cunt" is in hospice care for cancer and she would fuckin LOVE that #TrumpIsACunt is trending on here.

This is no joke.

Just when you thought the DWP couldn't be any more sh*tty towards unpaid carers than they have been, they've threatened those considering appealing the fines levied against them, that an appeal might open them up to even greater penalties....

This is inhumanity and a compassion bypass that is becoming truly staggering.

Unpaid carers should be cherished & supported not punished - the DWP should be thanking & helping them, not taking them to court!

@ChrisMayLA6 When I worked for a supermarket I was constantly asked to do more hours when starting a shift. It's hard to decline any extra work if you're worried about your job

Carers allowance is so inadequate people are forced to watch every penny on top of their exhausting care giving.

Carers do a FANTASTIC job, and SAVE so much money with the neverending loving care they provide, so the 'State' don't need to. They should be respected and appreciated not demonised.

so this Guardian article:
https://www.theguardian.com/world/2024/apr/03/israel-gaza-ai-database-hamas-airstrikes

is based on a +972Mag report:

WHICH EXPLAINS THE #AI HYPE OF THE PAST 7 MONTHS

#techbros are not only hyping AI in their war against #unions & USA's working classes; they do so while profiting from #Gaza #genocide

BTW:
how can AI identify 37,000 HAMAS combatants if they supposedly only had 30-40,0000 by Oct 7?
https://www.axios.com/2023/10/21/palestine-hamas-military-power

and as the CIA has always low-balled them at 20-25,000?

Watched this the other day. Just thinking about it now. The brutality Ukraine is having to put up with right now is so wrong. #SlavaUkraini

After recently reading the book I have just watched the BBC adaptation of China Miéville's The City and the City. What an absolute gem. The bizarrely plausible world-building is just so well thought through and presented. Highly recommended. #fantasy #scifi #urbanism #chinamieville
