@bob_some_ale I may have to come check that out on my midwest trip this summer!
@scottsthoughts This is one area #milwaukee actually does pretty well and is getting better. Several trails like the Oak Leaf and Hank Aaron get you out close to other trails that can get you through the burbs pretty safely.
@ithoughtisawa2 Thanks for this!
I've struggled with a fear of heights (#agoraphobia) since I was little. And I genuinely want to deal with it because its getting in the way of things I want to do. Mostly #cycling descents :). But googling it mobilizes the whole therapy-industrial-complex and I can't discern advertising from real help. If anyone has experience in this, I'd really appreciate advice or suggestions on resources that might be available.
Is anyone aware of any #rstats #r4ds or #python packages that are able to stitch raw UAV images together into a mosaic. From my searching, it looks like no, but hopefully I am wrong.
@JorisMeys @transportationtalk What if you turn the absence of detection into your primary variable. Maybe the rolling sum of days (or whatever your time period is) with no detection. Then you could use some basic time series analyses (ARIMA probably) to detect lags and correlation between the two. For example here are two cumulative series, perfectly correlated but lagged by 4.
@JorisMeys @transportationtalk Are the zeroes meaningful? That is to say, does a correlation between the zeroes indicate a similarity between the time series?
Serious bummer to pull the plug 45 minutes into the first big goal of the season. Woke to snow and crossed fingers that it would dry out. It did not. 😨
I think I finally talked my wife in to switching from cheap amazon #cycling shorts to quality bib-shorts. Any #BikeTooter recommendations for brands that are most well suited for women? Personally, I find the mid or low range $$$ Castelli are the best value in terms of quality and durability.
#30DayChartChallenge Day9 High/low. The one with the boxplot, for the "Distribution" theme. Development level impacts countries' net forest change.
