Icebergs calved from the piedmont glacier Breiðamerkurjökull float in the glacial lagoon of Jökulsárlón until the ebb tide takes them out into the ocean.

Once in the North Atlantic sea, the wave action deposits a large amount of this ice onto the black beaches of Fellsfjara, also known as the Diamond Beach.

On this day in November, a brisk wind was raising the waves and smashing them against the turquoise ice clutter.

We just released Mastodon 4.6.2, 4.5.13 and 4.4.20. Those versions only update our container image to fix an important security issue in ffmpeg, which Mastodon uses to process videos.

If you do not use our container image, you may skip this update but you need to update your installed ffmpeg to a patched version (ffmpeg 8.1.2, 7.1.5, 6.1.6, or 5.1.10)
