I tried the new smart ticketing system rolling out on Brisbane buses this morning with the “Express Transit Card” setting for the Apple Watch. This involves just holding your watch (or phone) near the reader once you set it up. It worked!! ☺️ Very convenient and one less card I need to carry around is a win 👍🏻

Today would be a good day to donate to #Ukraine. There is an official government website that allows you to donate to one of several funds including defense, reconstruction, medical, and de-mining.

I have a standing $25/month donation to their medical fund and periodically drop more money in on one of the other funds if there aren't boots on the ground kind of fundraisers that I'm backing at the time.

As I don't have the time and attention lately to feel confident in donating to the front line fundraisers, I donate through the Ukraine government's donation site:

@fribbledom I know this is a joke, but seriously though, you’d be able to retire from a day job very early in life if you started investing a small amount consistently at 25. Wish someone had told me to start investing when I was younger!

iOS 18 tip: You can delete Control Center pages, including the music and networking pages. To delete, long press to go into wiggle mode, then remove all widgets from the page you’d like to delete.

If you have only one page, it’s possible to swipe up to dismiss Control Center.
