It's quite amazing how hard it is to get a #solar installer in #Brisbane to install any Australian component brands. A direct request for a Tindo panel with a Redback inverter and battery is responded to with a Canadian Solar pane (Canadian) and a Solar Edge inverter (Israeli).

My feeling from 6 months of getting quotes is that most solar installers are one trick ponies, who just list "brands we carry" to give the illusion of objectivity. E.g., not worried that the panels are fully shaded.
