Great news:
The Brookings Institution tracks 343 shadow fleet tankers, and thanks to new EU sanctions, Putin's shipment of shadow oil has declined from 75 million barrels per month to now under 20 million barrels per month.

Great to see that in Hungary, Victor Orbán's Fidesz party is quickly losing ground to the Tisza party led by Péter Magyar (2nd photo, left).
Mr. Magyar has promised to restore Hungary's EU relations, reintroduce an independent judiciary, and fight corruption.
The Tisza party has not been particularly Ukraine friendly, but a poll showed that 58 percent of Hungarians want Ukraine in the EU, so now Péter Magyar supports the ascension.
The next parliamentary election in Hungary is in April 2026.

Qırımtatar milliy bayrağı künü hayırlı olsun 🩵💛 I'm thrilled to share amazing news!
Our Crimean Tatar flag, signed by 13 people whose lives are deeply connected to Crimea, sold for $3520 at auction!
Quick story: I often help the 36th Marine Brigade's drone unit, where Umer (a Crimean Tatar) serves, with fundraisers. I've raised funds before with baked goods (around 22,000 UAH), for my birthday, for New Year (86,000 UAH + $260), and by auctioning a book about Crimea (sent to the unit almost $1000 then).
This spring, I wanted to auction something bigger. Lenie Umerova suggested a Crimean Tatar flag. We met in March; she brought the flag and signed it first. Then, through spring and June, I collected 11 more signatures (and put mine). It was sometimes hard to find people, but it all worked out!
My friend RickTheUkrainian auctioned it on his platform https://www.myminiauction.com/rickrollersauctions#item-154569, and it was sold for $3520!
I honestly couldn't believe my eyes when I saw the final amount! I feel so inspired and happy to have raised so much money at once – this is a first for me (but hopefully not the last).
We will fight for victory until the end!
🇱🇹 The war in Ukraine is unlikely to end in the next three years, Lithuanian President Gitanas Nausėda said.
“I hope there will be a resolution to the war in Ukraine before the next EU multiannual budget period begins [in 2028], but I’m not very optimistic at the moment. I don’t see light at the end of the tunnel.”
NATO thinks Russia can fight for another couple years.
This might seem demoralizing, until you notice that Russia is operating at full capacity for arms production, and can't expand significantly more, due to financial, labor and industrial constraints.
i.e. Russia has likely peaked, and will tread water until their losses exceed their capacity to replace them or their economy either melts down or can't keep up with war costs.
Meanwhile, Europe & Ukraine keeps expanding their arms production.
