finished #reading Small Pleasures by Clare Chambers few hours ago.

Man, this #book made me feel.
I read it as a nice slice of life story, with its happy, sad, beautiful and ugly moments... and then I got to the afterword, and laughed out into hysteria as it ripped my heart out and left me dejected.
it was delightful.

i had to reread the first page again and then i saw the story in a new light.

the book ended, taking it's story with it, and left me feeling empty.

i absolutely loved it.
