With all of the horrible things happening in the world, it’s nice to find the wins. Especially in the area of our environment. A group called Coral Guardian is restoring coral reefs, and it’s quite magnificent.

These photos represent 7 years of work on the Indonesia’s Hatamin Island. In this they have increased the fish population by 5x with 53k corals restored.

More wins like this, please.

The Tactician's Bundle is a great deal with Gears Tactics, Mechanicus, Hard West & more

Need some turn-based tactics for the weekend? The Tactician's Bundle is a really good deal and there's some great looking games included.

A friend linked me to this game just a few days ago, I didn't know what to expect but it's been the best game-related fun I've had all year. Looks truly can be deceiving #astlibra #AstlibraRevision https://www.pcgamer.com/this-platformer-jrpgs-amateurish-art-hides-one-of-2022s-best-and-wildest-sleeper-hits/
This platformer JRPG's amateurish art hides one of 2022's best and wildest sleeper hits

Astlibra Revision is a bizarre-looking platform JRPG. But when you play it, you'll see why it's become a huge hit on Steam.

@brett I might take a look at that, I've tried some of the phone window managers (phosh, plasma mobile) with fedora and the tablets chugged
@brett I have a few old x86 tablets laying around and I'm struggling to find a light build of Linux that won't stutter on them. And a lot the lite distros seem to either be abandoned or not there anymore
Any opinions I could share regarding the #raspberrypi situation have been well and truly covered by now, but I do want to say: Netbooks! They made *so* many of them and they've just been floating around pawn shops and junk drawers for years.

They'll run pretty much anything that a Pi could, and come with a case, a screen, a keyboard/mouse, and an inbuilt UPS. Some of the most popular were built with Linux in mind, but even those that weren't have got drivers by now.

If you're a #maker, you probably don't need to contribute to landfills full of e-waste by buying brand new boards for one-off #projects. The hardware already exists and just needs a bit of love.
I just woke up, what happened at the game awards? What does Bill Clinton have to do with it?
They sound so nice now
Got this cheapo macro pad to make it easier to boot to the bios on the #ayaneoair pro since you can't do it without a keyboard (just to boot to Batocera). Sadly it came with blue switches but I have some leftover holy pandas from my keyboard build.
