Hi everyone. I wanted to let you know that I will be shutting down miniature.photography. It was a blast while it lasted, thanks to all of your support. This instance will be maintained until April 1st, 2025. You have until then to save / migrate all of your data to another instance. After that I'll take things offline and destroy all the data I have of you. Once again, thanks everyone. I'll see you down the road. :)

Once again, an administrative post: We are now running the latest version of Pixelfed, which means that you can now import from Instagram, Sign-In via Mastodon and - most importantly in my eyes - migrate your account, so you are not caged in with this instance. Happy, continuous, painting everyone. :)

Finally finished my Ogre Maneater which will be part of a weird warband of adventurers. It's probably not my best paintjob, but I'm proud that I dared to leave my comfort zone, trying to come up with my own way of painting rust, and by trying to make the skin and the fabric look like it's more than layer. A lot of room for improvements, but it's a start. :)

Didn't really get a lot of hobby time this week, with work being stressful and all. But I got to at least start painting my #oldhammer Great Unclean One. Nurgle Daemons are awesome to slap Contrast paint on.

Plus: I began assembling my Macharius Vanquisher, and I got to say, I'm surprised. It's simple to build for a Forgeworld kit, and only requires little fixing with green stuff.

Further progress on my Chaos Warriors. A few more details (such as blood splatters on some of the weapons) and then they'll be finished. I made some mistakes (such as the horns, ugh), and some stuff isn't perfect (the eyes aren't as glow-y as I wanted them to be), but all in all they are okay for a tabletop game. And it feels like I'm slowly improving, so yay.

As much as I feel like I deserve it, I do hope that I won't get visited by the Officio Assassinorum for my failures. After all the problems, issues and troubles, miniature.photography is now truly fully functioning again.

Praise the Omnissiah, we are done. Except for a annoying permission issue that popped up, the upgrade went smoothly. Please let me know if you encounter any issues, I tested stuff to the best of my knowledge and everything seems to work. With a bit of luck, miniature.photography should soon be listed in the server directory.
