Exciting news! Our work at #UWindsor on a highly potent antimicrobial composite material is now a published manuscript at RSC Sustainability. This work was performed together with the Kennepohl team from #ucalgary at #canadianlightsource who helped us determine the temporal speciation of copper in our composite. #research #bionanoscience #AntiMicrobials

Heidy Khlaaf (هايدي خلاف)The rate limiting incident in Twitter isn't really what pushed me over to use Mastodon more and more. Currently there is a hashtag on Twitter related to the French riots that's calling on the expulsion of all Muslim, African, and Arab immigrants from the entirety of Europe. The trending hashtag (at #2) is filled with images encouraging mass killings and lynchings of Arabs. There is no come back from this.

I totally understand that things are need to be paid for at the end of the day but it also feels super toxic to see that "free-to-use" is almost become a no-go for them
