A good critique of MacOS new menu icons https://tonsky.me/blog/tahoe-icons/
It highlights @scottjenson 's point from https://youtu.be/1fZTOjd_bOQ?si=eBP04-Yp3Z1Qf_Wm on how desktop UX keeps getting worse, not better.

Reclaimed the lab today 😱🧹🕷️🕸️🕷️🕸️
The cool weather inspired a windows-open vacuum, clean and semi-organize. There was still some stuff setup from #marchintosh, only 6 months later 😅
Storing keyboards in bins freed up a lot of space and stacking the CRTs on top of those towers also saved space and my back! A treat to see the floor again 😁
The main presentation is a little cheesy, but one of the bonus resources was this deck with Success Stories of some of Apple's biggest customers (at the time), including a pretty detailed description of their exact setups.

Given that this has to be my favourite Hartmut Esslinger/frog design prototype for Apple, I am in awe.
Design, 3D printing, electronics, custom mechanical keyboard, everything packed neatly, the workflow. This is *insane* work. 😮💨

The Edinburgh Fringe Festival really is one of my favorite ways to spend a week of vacation.
Seeing five shows a day! Comedy, musicals, circus, mime, people being great at what they do! People being bad at what they do but doing it anyway!
It’s a good time.
