@decay democratizing would also mean making it free and independent. Anyone doing vibe coding is extremely dependent on expensive LLM services or hardware. No 4-year old can afford that. Nor can they bear the consequences of being dependent on rising prices that will come with it.

@frumble es wäre fahrlässig nicht mit dem Gedanken zu spielen. Aber altes Sprichwort: es wird heißer gekocht als gegessen. Jedenfalls würde ich zum aktuellen Zeitpunkt keine Karriere im Bereich IT beginnen, aber auch nicht überstürzt eine solche an den Nagel hängen. IT ist außerdem viel mehr als Programmierung und solange es HCIs gibt muss die auch jemand entwickeln, erdenken, erklären, verkaufen, verwalten, weiterentwickeln. Das wenigste davon findet in der IDE statt.
