RealJournalismThe problem with the Democratic Party, and the reason why they keep losing elections to #Trump, is that there are too many people who would rather be the Compliant Opposition instead of an actual alternative. They are OK with #Biden letting #Israel bomb #Gaza with our weapons. They are OK with Biden deporting immigrants. It's just when #Trump does it that it suddenly becomes cruel and inhumane. And never ever tell prospective voters that their views are a "drop in the water."

There is a lot of activity over on Blue Sky right now. People joining and finding others, feeling nice. It is similar to what I saw a few years ago on Mastodon. Subsequently all went quiet and everyone returned back to their drug of choice: Twitter. But this appears to be slightly different and might stick. Time will tell.

Republicans feel they can control Trump just as they did in his last term because in their estimate he is just a bumbling old man. I feel they are going to find out that they have no control over him this time. His nominations show this and Republican caucus is in for a surprise. Their only option is to continue to show complete fealty.
