An exceptionally slow learner
I had never actually watched Flash Gordon (1980) before.
This movie is wack y’all.
Adopt the Juicero or be left behind. A vital shift is underway in juicing. The Juicero is no longer optional. It's tomorrow's future, today. 40% of jobs are impacted by the Juicero. The Juicero isn't the future, it's a present necessity. Nobody hand-juices anymore. To hand-juice is like an impairment. Everyone must now focus on the delegation and the verification of a juice. We become less juice producers and more juice enablers. Adopt the Juicero or be left behind. We are burning every forest and poisoning every river to produce more Juiceros. You will become obsolete if you don't get on the Juicero bandwagon. Students must not be taught how to hand-juice. 80% of jobs will be lost to the Juicero. Students must be taught to exclusively focus on how to collaborate with the Juicero. Education must focus on orchestrating agentic Juicero systems. The Juicero is inevitable. Adopt the Juicero or be left behind. Adapt or risk becoming obsolete. As the Juicero rapidly advances toward automating up to 90% of juicing, the skills that will matter most include juice design, Juicero fluency, juice delegation, and juice quality assurance. 110% of jobs have been replaced by the Juicero.

Just come across this legend (again) saved on a HDD. Gets posted often, but there always someone who hasn't seen it.

"The cult of goal-setting thrives in this illusion. It converts uncertainty into an illusion of progress. It demands specificity in exchange for comfort. And it replaces self-trust with the performance of future-planning."

Smart People Don't Chase Goals; They Create Limits

A few years ago, I sat across from a friend at a late dinner. He was telling me about his new promotion, the big title, the bonus, the corner office. I remember watching his face as he described it. He looked like someone describing a story he’d once believed

Westenberg.
I have found that the best thing to pair with chocolate is more chocolate.

Dammit! Did The Simpsons predict this moment as well??!

I enjoyed the first season of Poker Face; each bottle episode had a nice overarching framing to it. I'm having a much harder time with season 2, which seems much more reliant on stunt casting and over-the-top scenarios. And why they would establish a new framing device at the start of season 2 similar to season 1, only to resolve it by S02E03 was just weird.

Oh well. Plenty of other shows.

Announcing: https://justaqrcode.com.

Tired of "free" QR code generators that are full of ads and trackers, that share your data, and that want to sell you something? Me too. Here's my act of resistance: I made a one-page site that works entirely in your browser to generate a simple QR code. And that's all it does. You can download the HTML page and run it locally, even. Read the source; nothing up my sleeves. Just a QR code.

My offer to you -- I will continue to pay for the domain name and web hosting for it, myself. If you find it valuable, you can pay it back by creating your own useful thing for the world and releasing it for free. Let's take back the friendly web, one vexingly-monetized utility at a time!

Just a QR Code

Email is the cockroach of the internet - it outlives every wave trying to kill it. Forget Slack, forget Discord, forget chat apps. Email is universal, decentralized, and asynchronous. It's not sexy, but it's the ultimate survivor.
