So I bought the iPhone Air and have thoughts about the whole camera “downgrade”.

I don’t get it. Photography is my main hobby, aside from ergomech keyboards and programming. I have had this phone with me on holidays for three weeks now and have captured stunning and fun photos just fine with this camera. I had a 13 Mini which has the wide angle, which I used, some, probably <10% of the time. This sensor is more capable than either of those were.

If anything I’m more creative with a single focal length. But then, I travel mostly with my X100VI as well. So, there’s that.

Having a super slim device in my pocket is surely worth it for me, even if my camera is “limited”.
