I know it’s been said time and again, but I just have to say it: it’s so refreshing to be in here.. #mastodon

I’m impressed with #mastodon with today’s #russia coverage. Also, the top messaging platform that got mentioned the most was Telegram, considering #prigozhin himself posts on it communicating all updates. Twitter? Meta? Both irrelevant at this point.

All this #visionpro backlash negativity makes me thing how the iPod was viewed when it was announced.. “1000 songs?! That hard drive will crash in a day!” .. “why on earth is it using Firewire for connectivity ?! Such proprietary technology!” …we can criticize all we want about new tech, but the fact still remains.. it’s part of the journey that needs to be taken for better things to come in the future. Sure , Apple won’t produce many. But it has captured the hearts and minds of many globally.

On the new #macbookair ’s and #macmini ’s , I have an M1 Mini and a MacBook M1 Pro 14 and I’m happy with their capabilities. I don’t use them for heavy graphics stuff, just Office-related apps, browsing, YouTube, Zoom and Team meetings. Why use a Mac at all? It’s just a dependable software abd hardware ecosystem compared to Windows. So most likely, I’ll keep using the M1 for years to come.
