@williampietri reminds me of how Trump lackeys would say ridiculous things in the news to make their boss happy.

I just read a spoilery review of the new Indiana Jones movie, because why not, and I am GOBSMACKED to discover that they Poochied Shia La Beouf's character! Love it! 🤣https://www.polygon.com/23778933/indiana-jones-and-the-dial-of-destiny-ending-explained

Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny’s ending, explained

Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny has a bonkers time-travel ending that betrays the theme of the whole Raiders of the Lost Ark series. Let’s dig in.

Your periodic reminder that VC-funded CEOs are in a situation that they have bet both their kidneys on being able to deliver a 100x return to the bone-saw wielding loan sharks who funded them.

Your “community” is worthless to them unless it delivers Kidney Money.

They cannot just “decide” to not enshittify the community you mistakenly believed was yours. No appeal to justice or fairness will work, unless accompanied by a donor kidney or two.

You have to admit, regardless of your political beliefs, that a guy going to federal prison for years because when he himself was president he signed an order to increase the minimum sentence for the exact crime he committed is hands down the funniest shit that could ever happen and we are nanometers away from that once-in-a-lifetime hysterical occurrence taking place.

You have to want this to happen if you have any appreciation for comedy.
