If Dr. Jones had not been there to survive the opening of The Ark, then after those #nazis got their faces melted off, other nazis would have come back with blindfolds (or blinded people) and taken it. He secured it and made sure it got to safe storage.

The #BigBangTheoryTVshow supposition that he had no effect on the events in the movie misses this point.

The "good guys" don't end up with The Ark in storage without Jones securing it post face-melted-nazis

Had a blast with the kid at possibly the best Duluth Superior Symphony Orchestra event I’ve seen in years. Coincidentally, I got to see some old friends I hadn’t seen in years.

In case the image doesn’t make it clear, they displayed the film while playing the score live. It made for an unforgettable viewing of a movie I’ve seen dozens of times.

I also got the inside scoop on next year’s film score. 🤐😄
