She was part of a team of undergraduates who have done great work on plastic dynamics on a single urban beach. There's a lot more plastic & its more spatially variable than previous studies in #LakeErie have documented. #plasticpollution #beach #plastics #UndergraduateResearch

First #AGU22 #Plastics session starting now. I'm not going to try to post about the talks in real time, but please join at McCormick Place - E354b or online. We're starting with some talks about #plasticpollution in the ocean, and featuring work by #ECR #EarlyCareerResearchers.

simonbpCristina Thomas on ground observing #Didymos . Started in 2015, tons of pre impact observations, including mutual events. Few sites got the impact itself, because over Indian Ocean. Preimpact 96% primary body, post impact 2/3 ejecta; very similar, but slope change b/c fresher.
