Wrapping up the photos from the pier at 4 a.m. yesterday. Like a doofus I left my fave camera at home and only had my semi-potato phone, but I am pleased with the results.

📸 Biking the loop at Presque Isle State Park on Lake Erie yesterday was delightful!

❄️ The snow and wind on Misery Bay were totally worth it for the gorgeous beach and foggy forest scenery. (In 90 minutes, I saw one other cyclist braving the weather.)

📍 Erie is usually just a rest stop on road trips to more interesting destinations -- I'm so glad I stopped by!

The lake last night. Stiff winter-style wind. Mounds of ice on the #beach. Still, dozens of other people also felt the need to get out of their cars and see the #sunset while feeling the brutal cold.
