Found out that I was part of a large round of layoffs. I have a baby girl on the way, and could use some help finding a new gig. Ideally would like to work for another tech company as a CPO, DPO, Privacy Counsel, Dir of Privacy, or Privacy Program Manager.

Have my CIPP/US & CIPM. CIPP/E soon. Privacy/regulatory/risk-management a specialty. Used to be a gov’t regulator, so I know the other side of the table very well. Extensive GDPR & US state privacy law experience. Incident response exp too. Remote or Denver-based.

I work in infosec handling various shenanigans and scripting my way through what I can.

I used to write a Master's thesis (which I finished and got top marks for) and worked in an AppSec role on one of the EU Commission projects via my university.

Whenever else and spoons willing, I help manage a rookie-friendly infosec community (@Digit4lOverdose), run CTFs and a rookie infosec conference (next in 2024)

I'm also Autistic (sd. but v. likely) and have ADHD (formal diag. v. soon)

Ten years ago, #AaronSwartz died by suicide following a prolonged and relentless crusade by the U.S. judiciary to prosecute him for allegedly downloading academic articles.

After his death, @freedomofpress took over maintenance of the open source whistleblower submission platform he had been developing, now called SecureDrop, hoping to get news orgs to adopt it. It's now used by dozens of news outlets worldwide.
